2000 Founder – thank you for your support!
Once again, we would like to thank you for your support, patience and feedback! The teams around the PlayLegend.net network are full of energy for you every day, building, programming, organizing and supporting wherever they can!
Today we take a look at the maps of the foundergoal, which are already 90% finished!
Furthermore, we have, asked the build team five little questions about the history of these maps.
Look forward to cool pictures and some insider information directly from the build team, answered by headbuilder KawaiiJuuicy in agreement with the team.
And if you read until the end, you will discover another new feature concerning the build event server….
Was there any inspiration for those maps? If so, what was it?
“The inspiration for the maps was the old Legend MMORPG, where there was the faction of Destroyers, who are effectively the “bad guys” in the storyline. This faction includes: Orcs, Dark Elves, Undead and trolls. However, we decided to go with just Orcs, Undead, and Dark Elves because we felt them the most.”
Orcs, Undeads, Dark Elves – there is something for everbody!
What was the mood like among the construction team when the 2000 founder packs were hit?
“We were all very happy about it. After all, it shows in a way that our work on the server is valued.”
Were the maps decided beforeor was the design decided upon reaching?
“The design was decided by all the builders together upon achievement.”
Bedwars Solo/Duo & Squad – three fresh maps for every squadsize!
What was your favorite map to build?
“Our favorite maps to build were the orc-styled ones.”
Was there a map that drove you into despair?
“Not really, we just had to rework maps from time to time, like the Hide and Seek maps now, because they turned out too small.”
Also in gamemode “GetDown”, you dive into a magical world of evil factions!
How long do you sit on a map on average?
“It depends on the mode the map is intended for. For example, Bedwars maps take about 1-2 days if you’re working on them alone. Hide and Seek maps are a bit bigger and more elaborate, so it takes us about a week there if you’re sitting on it alone.”
Only the Hide&Seek-Maps are still work in progress – but for now, the progress is already amazing!
Last but not least, we would like to show you the new building event spawn! In contrast to the previous one, more attention was paid to the world outside the spawn – a small village rounds off the outdoor terrain and makes you feel comfortable right away.
How do you like the new building event spawn?
For now, we are done with this week’s blogpost!
Comments are, as always, very much appreciated!
See you next week!
