It has been over a month since the last Foundertest and today we would like to look back on this unique weekend. Besides the many great ingame moments, another community goal was reached. With 1000 Founderpacks sold, the community has reached the next Stretch Goal, which will allow us to offer you even more content at release. By the way, we have almost reached the next goal of 2000 Founders. Thanks a lot for the great support.

One promised feature at 1000 Founders is “25 more The Dropper maps at release of the game mode than originally planned.” Because our build team was overwhelmed by the great support, they set their sights not only on the promised 25 maps, but a total of 50 bonus maps for The Dropper. In doing so, 25 will be released at the release of the mode and 25 more bonus maps will be released at the release of Season 2.

Each Dropper Map is unique. Even one of the greatest street artists of our time made it into the selection.

The new Minecraft build height

New Minecraft versions add a lot of new content to the game that we can access while building and programming. In the process, there is content that has a small impact on us, such as the addition of … tadpoles? These are perhaps quite cute and a cool addition to one’s survival world, but not really earth-shattering.

On the other hand, there are also changes to the basic Minecraft formulas, such as the adjustment of the world height in version 1.18 with the so-called Caves & Cliffs update. There, the Minecraft world was extended vertically by 128 blocks. With this new height, we want to build all future Dropper maps, making them even bigger, better, and more unique.

Through the end portal you go to the next stage!

The bonus The Dropper maps

If you’ve been following GTimeTV’s streams for a while, you know how fast our build team is at creating new maps and content. After one month, the 25 bonus maps for Season 1 of PlayLegend are already built, so today we can already give you a glimpse of some of the maps.

Our mode The Dropper has a feature you may not know about yet. A single map can consist of multiple stages. In a map with multiple stages, you won’t find a nether portal on the first map yet, but you will fall into an end portal. After that, you will be teleported directly to the next stage, where you will fall directly again.

The highlight of the whole thing – you have to complete all the stages of the map without suffering any fall damage, otherwise you will have to start the whole map from the beginning. And because we at PlayLegend always want to go the extra mile, many of the new bonus maps have multiple stages. But feel free to check out the image gallery below to see what you think of the maps.

Adjustments to our store

Also, this week we provided our store with a small, but important update. Until recently, the entered Minecraft name, which was stored in the background by our store, was not displayed. This caused us to receive messages from people who were unsure if the store was working or if the correct name was entered.

To avoid this in the future, we have now added the display of your ingame name. Once you have entered this name once, it will be displayed at the top right next to your purchases. If you want to change the name again, you can click on it to log out. We hope that this change will make it easier for you to browse our store!

Right next to your cart you will find a profile picture and the name of your Minecraft account.

Conclusion

As we reach more Founderpack goals in the future, we would like to implement them as soon as possible. However, you need to be aware that Stretchgoals that are reached shortly before release will probably not be available right away. We will then get to work as quickly as we can to add your well-deserved content.

But that’s all we have to share this week. Which of the maps shown here do you like the most? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below this blog post.

If you can’t get enough of Legend, you can check out our blog post from last week. There we wrote about Microsoft’s controversial 1.19.1+ report system and why we’ll still be using the latest Minecraft version. You can find the link to the blogpost here.
