There are many reasons why you personally choose one or another resource pack. Often the textures support your own builds, one likes the style or additional content is added with this. For us, it’s a mixture of everything and more. We all got to know Minecraft with the grainy 16×16 blocks. Of course, it has its own charm and thus its justification.

We want to create a special and delightful world for you. This also includes a special mood and atmosphere. And from our point of view, that doesn’t work optimally with the vanilla textures. These grainy and noisy surfaces and the cool color temperature do not fit into the Legend universe and do not reflect the mood we want to create in you. However, we adopt the well-known 16×16 format for optical and performance reasons.

Therefore, stone bricks are polished, boards are dusted and the lawn is mowed. We want to retain basic and well-known forms and implement new structures. So even skeptical players can quickly find their way around.

We tidy up the blocks, only use up to four colors per material, and tweak the color temperature. From this, we get a warm and cordial mood. A mood that welcomes you and your friends to the world of Legend. On the one hand, the reduced color palette is a huge challenge, on the other hand, it helps us to be consistent in color.

Skyzone with Legend Pixels

With all these ingredients (rules) and a pinch of “seasoning” (exceptions), we bring you into the amazing world of Minecraft Legend. In a direct comparison of the vanilla textures and a preliminary version of our textures, the difference and the visual benefit can be clearly seen.

It should also be said here that colors and patterns can of course still change. The project is currently at a very early stage. Other specializations and features that you can look forward to are also planned for the colored areas. If you join the discord and check back here regularly, you will always be informed about updates.

Disclaimer: For the article images in the past and the future, we use a different resource pack, since Legend Pixels is still in development.
